Terms and Conditions

The plain-language terms that apply to our website, quotations and renovation projects.

These Terms and Conditions set out how Every Home Corner works with homeowners, from the first quotation through to handover and warranty support.

Acceptance of these terms

By using this website, requesting a quotation or instructing Every Home Corner to carry out work, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site or our services. Where a signed contract or project agreement exists, that document takes priority if anything here conflicts with it.

Our services

We provide interior design and decorating, exterior and garden renovation, home security installation, fire safety works, roofing, solar systems, window replacement, flooring, bathroom remodeling, and guidance on renovation finance and warranties. The exact scope for your home is the scope written into your accepted quotation.

Quotations and estimates

Surveys are free of charge and carry no obligation. Quotations are valid for the period stated on the document and are based on the conditions visible at the time of survey. If hidden conditions are discovered once work begins — for example concealed rot, failed waterproofing or undocumented wiring — we will stop, explain what we have found and provide a priced change order for your approval before continuing.

Scope changes

Any change to materials, finishes, layout or specification is confirmed in writing before we proceed. Verbal requests are welcome but will be documented and priced first, so there are no surprises when the final account is issued.

Prices and payment

Prices are set out in your quotation and exclude items specifically listed as excluded. Deposits secure materials and scheduling; interim payments are linked to agreed project stages; the balance is payable on completion. Late payments may pause work and may attract the charges permitted by law. Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude taxes and duties that we are required to pass on.

Scheduling and site access

We agree a programme with you before work begins and keep you updated if weather, material availability or inspection timings change the sequence. You agree to provide safe access to the work areas, water and power where required, and to secure pets and valuables. Working hours are agreed in advance so that households, neighbours and home offices can plan around them.

Materials and substitutions

We use the materials specified in your quotation. If an item is discontinued or unavailable, we will offer a comparable alternative in writing for your approval before installing it. Natural materials such as timber and stone vary in grain, shade and veining; those variations are a characteristic of the material rather than a defect.

Client responsibilities

You agree to disclose anything about the property that could affect the work, including known leaks, asbestos, protected features, restrictive covenants or ongoing insurance claims. You are responsible for obtaining any consents required from landlords, co-owners or homeowners associations.

Permits, compliance and safety

We arrange the permits and inspections required for the work we carry out, and complete safety-critical installations such as smoke and heat detection to current standards. Certification and inspection records are handed over with your project file.

Warranties

Our workmanship is warranted for the period stated in your project agreement. Manufacturer warranties for products such as roofing materials, glazing, solar equipment and appliances are registered in your name where the manufacturer allows. Warranties may be void where damage results from accident, neglect, alteration by others or failure to follow the care and maintenance guidance we provide at handover.

Care and maintenance

New finishes and installations need a little ongoing care. We provide written maintenance notes at handover covering cleaning products, seasonal checks, ventilation and service intervals. Following those notes keeps warranties valid and your investment performing as intended.

Risk, title and insurance

Responsibility for materials and completed work passes to you on completion and payment. Our crews are insured for the work they perform. We recommend that you keep your own home insurance informed of renovation work, as some policies require notification.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from a project is limited to the value of the work carried out under the relevant agreement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of rent, lost income or accommodation costs. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.

Cancellations and postponements

You may cancel or postpone a scheduled project in writing. Where materials have already been ordered, special-order or made-to-measure items may be non-refundable, and work already carried out is payable. We will always show you the basis for any such charge.

Website use and intellectual property

The text, images, layout and design of this website belong to Every Home Corner and may not be copied for commercial use without permission. Project drawings, renders and specifications we produce for you are licensed for use on your property; they may not be reused elsewhere without our written consent. Any imagery supplied for our portfolio is used only with your permission.

Reviews and feedback

We welcome feedback, positive or otherwise, because it helps us improve. Where you share a review or project photographs, you grant us permission to use them in our marketing unless you ask us not to.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of that state. Before any formal step, we ask that you raise the matter with us directly — most concerns are resolved with a phone call and a site visit.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in our services or the law. The version published on this page applies to your use of the website. The terms in your accepted project agreement apply to the work itself.
